Expansion with a fully automatic welding robot

CCI Leidingsystemen® is originally a welding company. It is therefore with pride that we share our latest acquisition: a fully automatic welding robot. After an extensive test phase the robot is now fully operational within our welding processes.

We chose the Rotoweld 3.0 for its high reliability and ease of use. Another major advantage is that this machine can apply the “root pass” (first weld) fully automatically.

With our new robot we can make certain welding processes more efficient and increase quality continuity. For this purpose CCI Leidingsystemen has trained and certified several operators. Their findings so far are very positive and the machine certainly meets our expectations.

Our robot is qualified according to ASME IX and ISO 15614. That means we can produce welds on our pipes ranging from 2″ to 42″ and apply the GMAW (MIG/MAG solid wire) and FCAW (MIG/MAG flux-cored wire) processes.
