The V-welding joint is the most applied connection.
In case of internal cementing, the cement lining should be handled afterwards in accessible pipes (> DN600).
With non-accessible pipes the cement lining will be put back 3 to 5 mm from the V-welding joint.
This will protect this small area from corrosion in case of water contact.
Please note: this does not apply to pipelines for waste water, brackish and/or salt water.
